SSH access from windows machine

If order to do ssh to server from a windows system, one can use PuTTY. PuTTY is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for Win32 and Unix platforms. Use the following steps to use PuTTY:

1] Download putty.exe
2] Double-click on the icon of the program you have downloaded.
3] Type 22 under Port
4] Enter the domain name under HOST
5] Click on the Open button to connect.

The first time you will be presented with a  Security Alert; click OK. Type in your user name and password when prompted.
