Cold Fusion MX 7 Standard Installation

During the installation process be sure to only install Coldfusion to the Default Web only, and not "ALL". Otherwise it will be installed for all sites instead of having Plesk add/remove them for you. After installation you may get an error message: HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to an ACL set on the requested resource This is due to that fact that Coldfusion's installation on Windows do not add the IIS worker process and the IUSER to the runtime files. To fix this add the users IIS_WPG and psacln (Plesk IUSR Group) or add IUSR_SERVERNAME (if this is a Windows server with only 1 site without Plesk) to the directory: [CFusionMX7 root]\runtime\lib\wsconfig Also add Read Write access for the IIS_WPG user or you may get a "Recursion too deep; the stack overflowed." error. | |
